19000 Kms. 75 days. One person. In search of Water.
Water Portal staff member C.S. Sharada Prasad set off on April 26th on a 75 day, 19,000 km. motorcycle ride across the country. He has made “Water” the theme of his trip. The objective of Sharada’s ride is to discover what water means to people across the country. He will be interacting with communities to learn from them about their water issues and experiences, and talk about what he has seen and learnt on the trip. Some people have already expressed interest in joining him on some portions of his trip. We have a new section on the Portal: http://www.indiawaterportal.org/k2k/ to follow his trip.

You can meet him at one of his stops or ride with him for a portion of the trip:

Route Map , Schedule, 'Water Quilt' project, Daily Updates (he is now at Kanyakumari)
