Red your article on free issue of electricity, as u informed nobody(particularlypolotical leaders) will care for ground water level. As I see at Sirsi, grame panchayat had allotted funds for digging pits at several places in forest area. This scheme had gone well in the first year then it will go earth. But funds are still utilised in that name. Instead of giving un-realistic assurance to public by political leaders, let them contol founds allotted for saving ground water. If control put on towards utilisation of funds in several schemes, there will be no need for issue of free issueof electricity.
